A trio of topics in one ballot question this November could allow the Legislature to constantly meet. Per the state constitution, the Legislature is not permitted to meet in regular session “after the first Monday following the third Saturday in May of any year.” Additionally, the number of legislative days in a biennium are capped at 120.
